Alleviate (Alleviate child Initiative) stands to advocate and fight for the welfare of disadvantaged children living in Uganda. Founded on grounds that children deserve an equal access to medical care and that children with learning disabilities should live in a world free of stigma and abuse. We envision a world where marginalised children and their families lead a dignified and productive life through the provision of health care services and protection from abuse.
Through the acronym PACES, we
Promote collaborative working with other agencies and organisations directly working with children; enable
Accessible medical and health care services and the promotion of
Capacity building for equal opportunities in health; emphasise social civility and equality as basic rights;
Empower the families and the general public on children’s social and educational needs as well as,
Supporting and helping add value to children living with disabilities by providing services which promote dignity and confidence in their ability.
